New Backpacks!

Okay, they are cute little backpacks, but they are leashes too. Is it cruel to get leashes for your kids? Maybe, but it's better than chasing them as they try to run out into traffic. If you think they look old in the first pic, you're not alone. We both think they look "older than they are" in that one.

Sam and Charlie are picking up language very quickly right now. Charlie is always telling Sam "No, No" when he's breaking a rule. They both recognize a bunch of animals and imitate their noises. My favorite is when they recognize a camel and pretend to spit (blame your Mom when you get in trouble in school, guys!). They also point to their nose, ears, mouth, hands, and feet when instructed. Correction, Sam points at Mom's mouth on that one. Also, they really make each other laugh right now. It's endlessly entertaining.
