This past Saturday was our very first time taking Sam and Charlotte different directions on Saturday morning. (We're pretty sure we'll be doing it every Saturday for the next 17 years or so.) Charlotte to ballet again and Sam to his first soccer practice. Mom and Ellie took Sam to soccer. Dad took Charlotte to ballet. Both got a little bit shy and instead of participating sought refuge in their parent. This is the first time they've ever done anything without the other, so some adjustment time is expected. Later that afternoon Sam proclaimed "I want to play soccer!", and Charlotte chimed in: "I can't hardly wait to go to ballet again."
Should be a fun 17 years!
