It was a long wait but we finally made it to vacation week. It was our first long
trip with the kids, so we did not know what to expect. It generally went well, despite the fact we were driving the I-81 corridor during Hurricane Hanna's mosey up the East Coast. We stopped at a Burger King somewhere in West Virginia for the first feeding (no changing tables in the restrooms, FYI), and again in lovely Buchanan, Virginia at the base of the dreaded 'mountain route' to the Lake. For those of you who have made the trip and are wondering: Yes, the mountain road made for some woozy babies. ;)
